Stephens Catering Equipment (SCE) the premier catering and food service equipment firm in Ireland and the UK were among the award winners on the opening day of Ireland’s largest foodservice and hospitality event. IFSA and the Panel of Chefs of Ireland acknowledged Stephens Catering Equipment long standing support of Catex, now in its 30th year by making a presentation to the company. In addition, Stephens Pudu Smart Delivery Robots were highly commended in the IFSA Foodservice Supplier Awards.
Stephens Catering Equipment have been supporting CATEX since 1993. Stephens continued their support again this year by sponsoring the Chef Ireland Culinary Competitions. Alan Cruite, IFSA Chairman along with the Panel of Chefs of Ireland presented the recognition award and a Stephens branded cake prepared by the Panel of Chefs of Ireland to mark their support.
In addition, Stephens Catering Equipment won the top accolade in the IFSA Foodservice Supplier Awards for its smart delivery Robots. Pudu Robotics were highly commended in the Best Foodservice Technology Product- Front of House category. Pudu Delivery Robots are Stephens newest innovation to combat staff shortages and salary constraints and help business owners fill critical job vacancies. Pudu Smart Delivery Robots provides users with an unprecedented food delivery experience.
Stephens Catering Equipment sponsorship marks the company’s longevity with company origins dating back to 1899. The company underwent a rebrand in 1975 where Stephens Supplies became Stephens Catering Equipment under the new ownership of Thomas and Elizabeth Caves. The business continues to be family run with Paul Caves and Julie Morrissey heading up the company.
